Coveralls and waterproof ponchos We don't recommend machine washing waterproof coveralls or waterproof ponchos as this can damage the taped sealed seams and over time the garment could lose it's waterproof qualities. For dirt and stains on waterproof garments we recommend initially spot cleaning using a cloth or sponge and cold water to loosen the stain, then wash very gently with a little diluted detergent, sponge again with clean water then leave to dry. Pull on snugs and side fastening snugs The fleece lining of the pull on snug can be detached and machine washed at 30 degrees. The outer layer of the snug should be spot cleaned with a damp cloth or sponge or hand washed. The side fastening snug can be spot cleaned or hand washed and line dried. Waterproof back fastening jackets, fleece lined capes and mittens These garments can be machine washed on a 30 degree cycle on a short spin. We do not recommend tumble drying as this can damage the taped sealed seams and over time the garment could lose it's waterproof qualities. Fleece ponchos and neckerchiefs These can be machine washed up to 40 degrees and tumble dried. Remember to fasten the hook and loop strip on the neckerchief before washing to retain it's wear.
Children with additional needs come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and don't always conform to conventional sizing guides. All our products have an age range to give you a rough idea on size, however, we have also included measurements of the garment so you can be more accurate with your sizing selection. If your child is a wheelchair user, measure them in their wheelchair as most of our products are designed to be worn sitting. If you're unsure, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can help you with your sizing selection.
