All prices displayed on willowbug.co.uk are exclusive of VAT.

As we specialise in clothing for children with additional needs, most Willow Bug products qualify for zero-rated VAT.  If you are buying a product from our Teen Range you will need to pay the standard rate VAT (20%) unless you are exempt from paying VAT.

A person is exempt from paying VAT if:

• The product is for social and domestic use
• The product is being bought by, or on behalf of, a person who is ‘chronically sick or disabled’

When ordering through our website you will be asked to sign a VAT exemption declaration during the checkout process.  The declaration confirms that you, or the person you’re buying on behalf of, is exempt from paying VAT, or, the person you are buying for, is under the age of 14.

If you don’t think you are eligible for VAT exemption, or are unsure and would like to talk to us about it then please contact us before placing an order.

Charities, other businesses and organisations should contact us directly to place an order.

If you are in any doubt as to whether you or your organisation are eligible to receive goods zero-rated for VAT, please consult HM Revenue and Customs Notice 701/7 via their website www.hmrc.gov.uk or call their Advice Service on 0845 010 9000 before completing the declaration.
